Laconia Little League is always looking for volunteers.  If you enjoy working with children and like to share your love and knowledge of either baseball or softball, then have we got a job for you!  If you would like to become an umpire or work in the concession stand, then have we got a job for you!  If you would like to help out in any way, we need you!  See the additional buttons under the "Volunteer Information" tab at the top of our Home Page for more information.

1) Print Volunteer Form & Submit for Background Check (also please perform Online Registration below)

Q: What do you need to do?

A: It's easier than you think.  Perform an Online Registration (see instructions below) and also simply fill out and return a
volunteer application form
with a copy of the front and back of a valid government issued photo identification to your division director, any board member, or mail to:
            Laconia Little League
            C/O Greg Lounsbury
            46 Leigh Ct
            Laconia, NH 03246

Please note that all Laconia Little League Volunteers must submit to a Criminal Background Check and complete a volunteer application in order to be considered as a manager, coach, umpire, or any other volunteer with Laconia Little League in which you will have contact with any minor child.

Q: What happens next?

A: After your application has been received your name will be placed in consideration for the volunteer position in which you have applied.  You will then be subject to the nomination and approval process that has been adopted by the league and you will be contacted if you have been chosen to be a volunteer.

Please note that a completed application does not guarantee you will be chosen for the position in which you have applied and that there is NO tenure in Little League.  All volunteers must repeat the entire process each season.

If you have any questions, please contact any board member for clarification or more information.

2) Online Registration Process for ALL Volunteers (in addition to sending in form)

Q. How do I do Online Registration to be a volunteer?

A. Select the link above titled "Online Registration" and it will take you to the Online Registration  program.  Simply follow the instructions listed.  You may also select the Volunteer Application when you click the "Online Registration" tab to register your players.  The Online Registration portion helps us keep our records accurately and to have ways to communicate with you easily through the website.

Q. I've volunteered before - is my information already in the system?

A. Probably.  If you coached or had a child in LLL in the past most of your registration information will already be on the website. To access your LLL account go to “Edit My Account” and type in the email address you provided to LLL. Within a few minutes you will receive an email at that address with a temporary password. Once you login you can change the password to whatever you like.

If you provided multiple email addresses to LLL, any of them will work.  If the email address you provided is no longer valid please send an email to and we can update your account with your new email address.

If you believe your e-mail is correct and you do not receive a temporary password, please send an e-mail to and we will fix this concern for you.

Q. Should I check that the information from last year is correct?

A. Yes, once you log into your existing account please take a minute to verify your information is correct.  Also please considering adding any new information that we did not have in the past (e.g. cell phone or alternate email addresses).

Q. What if I am new to LLL?

A. Go to “Edit My Account” and type in your email address.  Within a few minutes you will get a temporary password.  Now you can login and add your information as well as your spouse and children to your account, if necessary.

Q. Why do I need to fill an application out every year?

A. There are several reasons.  First and foremost, we are required to do a yearly background check on every volunteer and we need your permission to do this.  Also, we need to know what volunteer positions you are interested in for this season.

Q. Why do you need a copy of my driver's license and Social Security Number?

A. We are required by Little League to do nationwide background checks on all volunteers with access to the players.  LexisNexis (our background check organization) requires that we verify your name, address, and Social Security Number with a picture ID.  Also, there may possibly be a person with the same name as you that is flagged as an offender, possibly even in another state.  Your ID will allow LLL to verify that you are not the person by comparing pictures and birthdate.

Q. What if I forget my password?

A. Simply type in your email address and a new temporary password will be sent to you within a few minutes.

Q. What if I don't have an email address?

A. Many people use their work email as they check this one more often.  If you don't have any email, please contact Greg Lounsbury at 603-455-6572 and he'll be able to walk you through the process.
